My son loves Cricket and organges

He was not even taking his eyes off the TV while Cricket was on and was making happy sounds not necessarily at a catch or run though.

commercials are boring!!

So much happened in last 5 days

5 days have passed since I lasted posted something random. There has been so much action so I will do a quick replay.
1. Veer showed first sign of socialising..yup!!
I was with veer in our balcony and Seema said Hi veer from the ground floor.... Veer waved back and it was no coincidence because after some time she said bye and Veer waved again. I was so happy.
Dad came home and Veer waved to Dad as well guess he was happy about his own discovery of social etiquettes as much as I was.

2. Veer has started making some aba baba baba sounds which we love to hear keep prompting him all the time.

3. Rate of No of tantrums Veer is throwing per hour has increased drastically.
He is quite opinionated, actually in our house all of us are quite opinionated but he seems to have taken the quality a bit too much. So if he dislikes something the reactions are very evident.

4. etc..etc..etc

So true..

If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.
~Diane Loomans, from "If I Had My Child To Raise Over Again"

I certainly don't want to feel like this after few years.
So I better do this now.

2 white pearlies showed up..

Hi all,

Yesterday Veer cut his first tooth, last night I gave him a guava to play with.
(well, yes we give him random things to play him since his interest in any real toy can't stay longer than few minutes.
Anyways, he made two little dent marks in Guava. they looked too cute. Really we are so thrilled and I wish I had taken a picture.
These are central incisors lower teeth.

Veer's first hair cut

By the time we reached the saloon for his cut Veer was fast asleep so the barber told me to sit with him in the chair and let him sleep.

I was worried it might hurt him while his head is being shaved so we were procrastinating it for some time(there were other reasons too).
- Winter is approaching, without hair on his head Veer might feel cold.
- I did not want to spoil his Diwali pictures.
- I liked to see him with hair/peachy fuzz/actually kiwi fuzz (or whatever you might call it)
So I got an IDEA I shaved a part of his right on the top of his head using Harry's electronic shaver. Now that I had spoiled his fuzz we better get it done properly.

Here is picture post my work of art on his head.
Though you might notice it much since there is dearth of hair anyways but it did look different.

Veer got up just when we got through with the job and he looked really surprised.

He looks cool without fuzz too. But I am hoping for good harvest post this haircut.
